Book Genre: Teen/Young Adult/Fairy Tale/Action Adventure
This book is part of the “ A Twisted Tale” collection and each book can be read separately. Any Beauty and the Beast fan will love this Disney story with a twist and it is just that, Beauty and the Beast with a twist of, “What if Belle’s mother cursed the Beast?”
As I was reading the book, I found it really neat how the author changes the perspective of different characters, and as a reader continues, they can put the pieces together. One of my favorite parts of this book was from the beginning to about partway through the story, which follows similar to the movie, but with one of the perspectives being Belle’s. It is neat to read her thoughts and emotions as well as the Beast as the book continues. The twist to the tale makes sense to the main plot of the original story of Beauty and the Beast, and as a big fan of the original movie that is important for everything to make sense. This book definitely makes you want to keep flipping through the pages before bed. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
